Harvest Sunday

our Harvest Sunday Mass in both churches is Sunday 24th September.  We are collectiong for two charities this year.  In Winton we will be collecting for the Salford Loaves & Fishes charity.  A list of things that you can bring to the Harvest Mass were given out last week or it can be found at the back of church.  At Peel Green we are collecting for the Mustard Tree charity in Eccles.  Please bring along tinned food, toiletries, etc to the Harvest Mass.  Please do try to be generous in both churches in support of these much needed local charities.  Thank You.

St Michael and All Angels Church Presents "Do You Remember When?"

A Musical Eveing of Northern Songs and Humour with Rob Mason.  Friday 27th October, 7.30pm.  £5 including supper in St Michael's Church Hall.  Tickets from Marjorie & Michael at Peel Green & from Fr Ian or Anne at Winton.

St Michael & All Angels Church Patronal Festival

This Fridat 29th September at 7.00pm.  There will be a sung mass celebrated by the Rt. Rev'd Glyn Webster, Bishop of Beverley, who will also preach.  This Mass will be followed by a buffet in the Parish Hall.  Please do come along for this important event & bring someone with you so that we can have a full church & a real celebration.

Relax & Refresh

Every Tuesday 1pm-3pm in the Magdalene Centre, run by the church.  This is an opportunity for women to simply get together over tea, coffee & cake & chat about things in a relaxed atmosphere.  Perhaps learn a new craft? Come on you ladies, give it a go!
